Belladonna Apothecary is queer and disabled owned and operated. We are queer moms who just moved to Massachusetts with our queer kids to escape the South. We make tinctures, salves, potions and teas designed with care, and intentions to empower and heal the body and the spirit. All our items are made with organic plants we forage or grow ourselves and are vegan (except our bees wax salve), gluten free and alpha-gal free.
As people with chronic illnesses and severe allergies ourselves, we strive to make all our products safe for everyone, especially those who might have a harder time finding acceptable products. We also make vegan spell candles and handmade incense so you can bring a little magic into your home.
At our booth you can create your own magic with our make your own spell jar Spell Bar.
Our passion is for our products to be accessible and helpful to people with allergies, chronic illnesses or other restrictions and to empower you to grow in confidence and self love.
Because it is so important to us that our products are accessible to everyone we also offer custom blends and creations to accommodate for any allergy or restrictions.
Berkshire Henna offers all natural, organic henna (temporary skin staining lasting 7-10 days). Artist V Dang has been ICNHA-certified since 2017 and in that time has had the opportunity to learn from a wide range of henna professionals and historians from across the globe. Safety is the highest priority of Berkshire Henna, and as such V never uses adulterated dyes or dangerous “black henna.” During the height of the pandemic V practiced on paper doing henna while wearing gloves and a mask until it was second nature, so that hygiene and client protection could be a central part of Berkshire Henna from then on.
Best Felted Friends is a collaboration between real life best friends, Lupin and Nina. Our handmade needle felted creations are full of personality, and primarily made with various types of sheep wool, or alpaca for certain finishing touches. Lupin loves making aliens, animals, and finger puppets. As a blind person, he is passionate about the accessibility inherent in fiber arts, and is currently felting a tactile map with buttons, and shells for a larger project. Nina has been felting for over 10 years; whether she is making merfolk, anime characters, or the most pudgy loaf cats, her sense of whimsy and aesthetics is unparalleled.

Took is a genderqueer weaver who draws inspiration from nature, his found family, and the twisty turns of life that led them to weaving. Said twisty turns include the late discovery of a disabling genetic collagen disorder, and piecing the scraps of his life back together with the support of his found family. Took is aided in his weaving by Penelope Calico, and Hades Himbo, who serve as medical alert and emotional support cats (Penelope will calico-complain if Took’s heartrate or breathing gets wonky, while Hades will slowly insert his massive Maine Coon-mix bulk between Took and the loom when Took needs to take a break). These two are jokingly referred to as the HR and OSHA of Hawksong Weaving.
Took works exclusively with thrift store or secondhand yarn (no, not taking apart sweaters or blankets, just utilizing the odd balls of yarn that get donated or gifted) in a way that allows tattered and worn yarn to shine. This process serves to remind himself and others that just because you’ve been worn down by life and pierced back together a few times, doesn’t mean you don’t have value, and that it’s okay to be gentle with yourself while piecing things back together.
Took enjoys teaching the adaptive weaving methods he works with, creating weaving content on Youtube and Tiktok, and weaving commission memorial scarves and blankets for family members of fiber artists who have passed on.

Salted Snail Studio is the work of queer printmaker and various-media-dabbler, Jasper Alexander. His prints contain an eerie sentimentality inspired by internal dialogs, external dialogs, personifications of ecological phenomena, folk tales, stories told over dim light, and the mundane sort of magic interwoven into all of our hum-drum lives.
Jasper prints his blocks by hand onto traditional papers as well as gently-worn clothing, vintage table linens, and various scrap fabrics stitched-up-by-hand into accessories and art objects that are perfect for gifting (or coveting.)
