Mutual aid is a powerful part of Yet Another Queer Pop-Up Market. Various makers will participate in donating a percent of total market sales, and others will co-fundraise for direct donations. Attendees will be invited to participate more directly at the market.
On May 10, find our Mutual Aid pop-up tent near the Community Area and High Five Books to learn more, donate, and get involved.
They Keep Bees is based in Western Massachusetts. We tend bees in Western Massachusetts, North Carolina, and on the central coast of Florida. Currently, we manage 300 hives. We use simple box hives designed and handmade hives built to mimic the cavity of a tree, and be responsive to the needs of the bees. In a beehive, the influences of the ecosystem shape the actions of the hive as a collective. As stewards of honeybees, we listen to the ecology around us and observe the response within our hives to make decisions about the best actions we can take as beekeepers.
Foxtrot Herb Farm is a six-acre certified organic farm in Ashfield, MA that specializes in growing vibrant, high-quality botanicals and climate resilient foods. Our small team tends the land using no-till practices. We sell bulk fresh & dried organic herbs, teas, elderberry products, and specialty produce to apothecaries, restaurants, and makers. Our CSAs and sliding-scale PYO program aim to make using these plants approachable, accessible, and fun.
